Thy Kingdom Come

As part of my preparation for the next General Conference I am reviewing the talks given in April by the First Presidency and the Apostles to see if I am in harmony with their counsel. (Of course, all the talks given are important, but there aren't enough days before the Oct Conference to focus on each one in this way.)
I like to use what I call "the language of faith" like President Eyring does each time he speaks..."as if" I am already doing it..
So here's today's talk by Elder Anderson Thy Kingdom Come

This what I will believe and think and do if I have followed his counsel:
  •    I am a believer; a disciples of Jesus Christ.
  •    I have taken His name upon me and pledge each week that I will remember Him and keep    His commandments.
  •    I am not casual in my faith.
  •    I believe in Him. I worship Him. I follow Him. I deeply love Him.
  •    I know HIS CAUSE is the GREATEST CAUSE in all the world.
  •    I live in the days preceding His Second Coming full of wars and rumors of wars, natural  disasters, confusion and commotion.
  •    This is the glorious time of Restoration.
  •    The Lord promised to raise up a pure people and to arm them with righteousness and the power of God.
  •    I rejoice in this day and pray that I will be able to courageously face our struggles and uncertainties.
  •    In the midst of trial I need not fear because I keep a clear perspective and see beyond this world.
  •    My eternal point of view is that the Lord is at the helm of His work. He opens doors that I cannot and performs miracles I can scarcely imagine.
  •    I am spiritually awake and alert to His hand across the world and in my own life.
  •    I confess the hand of God in all things.
  •    I doubt not.
  •    I fear not. I know that “they that be with us are more than they that be with them.”
  •    He knows me and loves me.
  •    I continually pray in faith to have my spiritual eyes opened even wider to see more clearly the Lord’s hand in my life and that I am not alone.
  •    I stand steadfastly in the faith of that which is to come – the King of Kings.
  •    My faith grows as I anticipate the glorious day of the Savior’s return to the earth
    • I will see him clothed with power and great glory.
    •  I will hear the trump of God and will be quickened and caught up to meet him.
  •    I am preparing for His coming by rehearsing these glorious events over and over in my own mind and with those I love.
  •    I pray for His kingdom to come and His will to be done.
