1. Elder Causse - Our Earthly Stewardship - Take care of the earth and all living things on it. Participate in the work of creation under God's guidance.
2. Sister Craig - Wholehearted - Get the "fire of the covenant" to help you make it through hard times coming. Be joyful and give your all in your journey of discipleship even when hard by staying focused on Christ. It's going to be hard so you can grow. Lean in with your faith against the winds maintaining your daily rituals. Don't give up and hide - act. Question what you think you see. Face the impossible with faith. Miracles will come. Endure patiently and pray more fervently. Stay. Wait upon the Lord and trust Him.
3. Elder Pearson - Are You Still Willing? - Be willing to follow Jesus and focus on Him. Make Him the center of your life. Choose faith in Him through action. Discern the precepts of men from Divine Truth. Know Jesus. Pray more. Do the little things. Don't be satisfied with superficial effort or get casual. These are unprecedented times. Study the Book of Mormon. Have joy. You are going to need to prove your willingness in the hard times. Learn the will of the Lord then do it. Discipleship comes at a price. Willingly pay it. Take the Holy Spirit for your guide or you won't survive. Prepare for persecution.
4. Elder Silva - Courage to Proclaim the Truth - As a disciple of Christ you have accepted the task of sharing the gospel; your testimony; the Book of Mormon. You are defending the truth when you share the gospel, which proclaims absolute truth; right and wrong. Have courage. Trust God in your afflictions. You can still find comfort and peace in Christ. Hold on to the truths of the scriptures, the words of the prophet and the Holy Ghost. You are always free to proclaim the truth with courage.
5. Elder Andersen - Drawing Closer to the Savior - Be humble. Know the signs of the Second Coming. We live in perilous times. Be aware there are "tares" among us. Show compassion to the "tender wheat" who are weak in the faith. Nurture, fortify and strengthen the roots of your faith. Be determined to follow Christ. Beware that the cares of the world don't choke your faith and cut off your light and nourishment by tempting you to be casual with the daily experiences. Don't fear. Increase your faith so you can be blessed with compensatory spiritual gifts to counter the evil. Immerse yourself in Jesus. Move towards Him, See Him. Give your allegiance and trust to God. Find power in the temple. Safeguard the gift of the Holy Ghost - you won't survive without it. Take charge of your desires, thoughts, choices and actions. Separate yourself from the world. Be distinct, uncommon and special. This is not isolating yourself from others who believe differently. Know the Savior will gather the wheat into the garners.
Lots of references to focusing on the Savior. Peter had to focus on the Savior to walk on water in the middle of a stormy sea. This is what we are facing! Also references to joy are being repeated. We'll have a tough time with that if we aren't centered and focused on Christ. Who finds joy on a stormy sea? Who can "rest" when all is in commotion? Jesus. Find rest and joy in Him.
