September 2017 General Women's Session Action List

(These are the action statements that I pulled from the Women's Session of General Conference Sept 2017)

Reflect righteousness
     - develop an inner connection with God
     - keep the commandments because you love God
     - repent of sins and mistakes
     - freely help others
Articulate your faith
Turn on your light
Be distinct and different in happy ways
      - in how you live the gospel
      - practice living the gospel
Form relationships with good women
Put yourself in a place where you can feel God’s love,


Continually deepen your knowledge and obedience to Heavenly Father
Wholeheartedly accept His invitation to draw near to Him
Trust Him enough to abide in Him and walk with Him
Don’t let challenges pull you off course and cause you to lose your trusting connection with God
Sift your priorities – what matters? What lasts?
Humble yourself
Change selfishness into service
Change fear into faith
Cleanse your inner vessel of pride through the Atonement of Jesus Christ
Put His will first. Sacrifice your personal agenda to make room for the eternal plans of God
Seek. Ask. Obey.
Be a repairer of the breach through simple love, honestly expressed
Faithfully live the law of the Fast
Pray with all the energy of your heart for Charity

Truly know your divine worth
Repent with your worth intact
Stop comparing
Let virtue garnish your thoughts unceasingly – crucial!
Acknowledge the whisperings of the Spirit are from God; praise Him; feel “counted worthy” to receive it
Remove distractions and use your agency to seek Him
Work to have more love and faith for the Savior than the energy you give to focus on negative thoughts
Don’t be spiritually passive -Make the spiritual effort to remember and embrace your divine identity.
Move to higher ground so you can see more clearly who you are and how close Christ is to you

Do not surrender your happiness to others who care little about you
Stop worrying about what other people say about you
Focus on divine truths and the many reasons you have to not be sad
Do not justify anger, hurt, shame, or to silencing others as “standing for the right”
Love your enemies
Do good to them that despitefully use you, and persecute you
Break down the barriers that create anger, hatred, division and violence
Be responsible for your own discipleship regardless of the way others treat you
Love others regardless of their feelings towards you
Reach out to bless others and minister to them, even if they persecute you
Choose to be an authentic disciple of Jesus Christ
Trust God even in the face of ridicule and hardship
Maintain faith and hope despite the scorn and cynicism around you
Live joyfully even in less than joyful circumstances
Learn, by the power of the Holy Ghost that the path of discipleship is the way to joy, safety, peace and truth
Find refuge and strength in the organizations of the Church
Seek opportunities to demonstrate your love for others through faith, compassion, charity, virtue, and service
Give your best – intelligence, creativity, faith, integrity strength, determination, love
Choose your destination and many of your experiences
Choice is more important than ability
Do not allow circumstances to make you sad or mad
Find joy and happiness in the Grace of God and the Love of Jesus Christ
Fill your heart with gratitude for the abundant and limitless goodness of God
Choose to press on toward the tree of life
Choose to lift up your voice and make your life a glorious symphony of praise, rejoicing in what the love of God,
     the wonders of His Church, and the gospel of Jesus Christ can bring to the world.
Learn to sing the song of redeeming love
Find strength and courage to joyfully thrive as a daughter of God while gladly walking the path of discipleship
